Downhill ski

Those who enjoy winter sports can go to the skiing facilities Bouřňák and Klíny that are 12km and 20km far from Duchcov respectively.

The Bouřňák skiing facility offers 6 slopes. 2 of them are blue, 3 red and 1 black. The slope “Údolíčko” with a short ski lift is suitable for beginners. There are two lifts going from Mikulov to the top of the hill, from where you can either go down by the 700m long black slope, which is one of the steepest in the Czech Republic, or pick up from one of the red ones or even the blue one, which is 2.700m long.

Moreover you can go southwards to the red slope called “Hrobská”, which is suitable for intermediate skiers and ideal for families, where there are 2 ski lifts. In the upper part of the “Hrobská” slope there is a snowpark with rails and jumps.

In the Klínovec skiing facility there are 5 ski lifts (K1, K2, K3, K4) and one lift for snowtubing (K5), parking site for 200+200 cars, public ski school, snowpark and snowtubing. The slopes are maintained daily and the whole facility can be artificially snowed under. The slopes and K4 “The Lift” are artificially lit. The slope K2 “The Slalom Racer” is famous for its races.
